Responsibilities

Build and maintain** batch and streaming pipelines (Airflow, Kafka, dbt) that process tens of millions of events daily

Guarantee correctness**: usage data feeds real invoices, so tests and reconciliation checks are not optional

Partner with product** to model new usage-based pricing metrics before they launch

Requirements

3–6 years in data engineering, with real experience on streaming pipelines

strong SQL and comfort with a modern warehouse (we run Snowflake)

English B2

Meridian Cloud Systems has been building that subscription billing and revenue infrastructure out of Amsterdam since 2013. Around 160 people work across engineering, product, customer success and sales, organised into nine small product squads; most of engineering is hybrid, with two office days a week at our Amsterdam Zuid office and a growing remote contingent across the EU.
